The Department of Anesthesiology provides specialized support across a wide range of surgical disciplines, including neurosurgery, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, oncology, general surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, and renal transplantation.

Pain management remains a cornerstone of our practice. Recognized as the **“fifth vital sign,” pain is addressed with utmost priority through advanced techniques in both acute and chronic pain management, ensuring enhanced patient comfort and recovery outcomes.

The scope of anesthesiology extends well beyond the operating theatre. Our team conducts thorough preoperative evaluations, carefully assessing each patient’s medical condition and surgical requirements to design the safest and most effective anesthesia plan. Postoperatively, anesthesiologists continue to oversee patient recovery, ensuring a smooth and safe emergence from anesthesia.

Our department is staffed by a team of highly skilled consultants and senior residents, supported by 10 state-of-the-art operation theatres equipped with modern anesthesia workstations and advanced patient monitoring systems. With the capability to perform 20–25 surgeries daily across multiple specialties, we uphold the highest standards of precision, safety, and patient-centered care.
